The Alabama Crimson Tide dominated the ULM Warhawks 63-7 on Saturday in Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Tide controlled all three phases of the football game, setting a school record for punt return yards in a game and scoring touchdowns on special teams and defense.
Alabama blocked a crucial field goal against Texas last week to keep points off the board and now the special teams has scored its first touchdown of the season thanks to the Hewitt-Trussville native's scoop and score.
The Tide was penalized 15 times in Austin, but fortunately for Alabama none were due to using the "Horns Down" hand gesture. Saban's message to not use the gesture was received for the duration of the game, but the players couldn't help themselves after the win was secured.
The head coach and commissioner of the A-Day game Nick Saban is serious about the rules, beans and weenies for the losers, and nice steak dinner for the victors.
