Pregnant Northport Woman Killed in Vestavia Hills Crash Saturday

A young Northport woman who was pregnant and her unborn child were killed in a multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 459 this weekend, media outlets in Jefferson County report.

AL.com and other news outlets cited the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, which reported that a 23-year-old pregnant woman in Northport was riding in a vehicle involved in a predawn wreck around 3:30 a.m. Saturday on I-459 in Vestavia Hills.

The coroner identified the passenger as Cambraya Sharondae Broach, who died along with the child she was carrying as a result of the Saturday morning crash.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating the deadly collision, and no other information was available Tuesday.
