Man in Critical Condition After Predawn Shooting at Tuscaloosa Apartments Thursday
A man is in critical condition after a predawn shooting in Tuscaloosa Thursday morning, police have confirmed.
Stephanie Taylor, a spokeswoman for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said officers were called to the 2100 block of 14th Avenue around 2:45 a.m. Thursday on reports a man had been shot.

They found an adult male in the road suffering from at least one gunshot wound, Taylor said.
The multi-agency Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit will investigate the shooting, which Taylor said may have taken place at the nearby Bonita Terrace apartment complex.
Captain Marty Sellers, the co-commander of the VCU, said the victim was still in critical condition around 8:30 Thursday morning. The investigation is ongoing and in its infancy.
