Louisiana Truck Driver Killed in Sumter County Crash Tuesday
A truck driver was killed following a crash involving two 18-wheeler trucks that happened in Sumter County Tuesday.
Corporal Reginal King with the Troopers Office in West Alabama said the crash happened at 8:45 a.m. on Interstate 59 near mile marker six, four miles north of York.

A 2015 Freightliner tractor-trailer, driven by 37-year-old Webster J. Joseph, struck a 2018 International tractor-trailer driven by a 21-year-old Tuscaloosa native.
Joseph, of Slidell, LA, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and was pronounced dead on the scene.
No other information is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the crash.
