Linda Roberta Winchester (January 1st, 1950 – March 24th, 2024)

Linda Roberta Winchester, age 74, of Northport, Alabama, passed away March 24, 2024 at her residence.

Her Memorial Service will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Magnolia Chapel North with Matt Heatherly officiating. Visitation will be following the service from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Linda R. (Leon) Winchester, age 74, of Northport, Ala., passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2024.

Linda was born on January 1, 1950, to Dorothy E. (Fox) Leon and Cletus Leon in Cincinnati, Ohio. Linda attended Western Hills University High School and cosmetology school. Linda was a vivacious and sociable woman beloved by her community. She was a dedicated grandmother and mother who enjoyed gardening, singing, interior design, and impromptu rock concerts with her grandkids. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy E. (Fox) Leon and Cletus Leon, and her aunt, Catherine Bruewer. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Christopher Winchester and Paul Visscher; Lee Winchester and Diana Winchester; and Britt Winchester and Andy Sage. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Jordan Winchester and Violet Winchester, as well as her beautiful kitty, Rory.
