Juvenile Hurt in Late-Night Shooting in West Tuscaloosa Monday
A girl was hurt when shots were fired at a west Tuscaloosa housing complex late Monday night.
Video posted to social media showed a large police presence in the Creekwood Village Apartments off 40th Avenue near Stillman College and the Piggly Wiggly.
Capitan Marty Sellers, the co-commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said police were called to the residential complex on reports of shots fired.
He said a juvenile female suffered an injury he called "very minor."
The VCU is investigating the shooting, but no other details were available Tuesday morning.
