
Hoover Woman Killed in Head-On Collision on Interstate in Tuscaloosa
A Hoover woman was killed Sunday night in a head-on collision on the interstate in Tuscaloosa.
Senior Trooper Cody Farrar with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said 42-year-old Quinita Banks was driving a 2004 Honda Accord that collided head-on with a 2011 Chevy Tahoe being driven by a Louisiana man.

Farrar said Banks was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which happened a few minutes after 8 p.m. on Interstate 20/59 near Exit 73 and the crimson-painted arch bridge over McFarland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa.
Nothing further was released Monday morning as Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
