Lamar County Man Arrested on Child Sexual Abuse Charges
A Lamar County man faces first degree sexual abuse charges after allegedly engaging in sexual contact with a child and photographing them.
The 24th Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office's Sexual Assault Unit conducted the investigation, and made the arrest last Thursday.
Officers arrested Kyle Wesley Williams, 32, and charged him with first-degree sexual abuse and production of obscene matter containing a visual depiction of a person younger than 17 involved in obscene acts.
Williams allegedly subjected a minor child to sexual contact by forcible compulsion, in addition to photographing them.
According to 24th Judicial Circuit District Attorney Andy Hamlin, Williams is currently being held in the Lamar County Jail with bond set at $350,000.
