Superstar Jimmy Buffet to Headline Show at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater
International superstar Jimmy Buffett will play his first-ever show at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater later this summer, Red Mountain Entertainment officially announced Thursday.
The singer-songwriter, who spent much of his childhood in Mobile, Alabama, is known and loved globally for his easy-going island escapist anthems including "Margaritaville," "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and more.
The concert, featuring Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band, is set for Thursday, September 16th at 8 p.m.
Tickets go on sale next Friday, July 23rd, at 10 a.m. on ticketmaster.com and at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater Box Office. There is an eight-ticket limit per customer.
Stacy Vaughn, the city of Tuscaloosa's Director of Public Services, oversees operations at the Amphitheater. She said city staff could not be more excited to have worked with Red Mountain to finally bring Buffett to the Druid City.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band for the very first time to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater,” Vaughn said. “It will absolutely be 2021’s must-attend party of the year as great music and summer vibes take over T-Town. You won’t want to miss it!”
Tune in to Townsquare Media's 95.3 the Bear, Tide 100.9 and Nick 97.5 all next week for chances to win tickets before you can buy them, and Parrotheads should be ready to grab tickets as soon as they're available next Friday. They're sure to go fast, and Buffet fans won't want to miss their chance to catch him live at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater for the first time ever.
