Fan Injured at Morgan Wallen Show in Tuscaloosa
What was supposed to be a fun night at a sold out Morgan Wallen concert in Tuscaloosa has turned into something much more serious for one local family.
According to a post shared by James Spann, the incident happened inside the stadium before the show even really got going.
“Hi James, I wanted to reach out to see if you could help,” wrote Kayla Dixson.
She explained that her stepmother had been looking forward to the concert, but things quickly took a turn.
“Unfortunately, after paying money for her tickets and waiting on Morgan Wallen to come on stage, she got pushed by a drunk guy, tumbled down two sets of stadium seats and was landed on by the drunken guy.”
The injuries were serious enough that emergency crews had to step in immediately.
“She had to be taken out of the concert by EMS and taken by ambulance to DCH hospital,” Dixson wrote. “She had surgery this morning to repair the 6 inch gash on her forehead and is also in a sling, awaiting a consult from Ortho… possibly having a broken wrist.”

Doctors told the family the situation could have been even worse.
“They told her as hard as her head hit the stadium seat and how she hit it, she’s lucky she didn’t break her neck.”
While one person stepped up, the person responsible did not.
“There was only one guy in the group who was sober. He stayed and helped my stepmom and her niece but the drunk guy, who’s responsible, ran.”
Dixson made sure to highlight the good in a bad situation.
“The guy who stayed and helped provided his phone number… his name is William. I’d like to thank him for being a decent human being and not fleeing the scene with his buddies.”
Now, the family is hoping to track him down fully and also reach the artist’s team for some help.
“She never even got to see Morgan Wallen perform. Is there anyway you could help me notify Morgan Wallen’s team or manager to see about getting her a refund on her tickets or maybe tickets to another concert?”
As the woman remains in the hospital, her story is spreading across social media, serving as both a call for accountability and a reminder of how quickly a night out can change.
