
UPDATE: Child Porn Charges Rock Aliceville PD And Schools
The identity of the Aliceville Police officer arrested and the charges against him have been released by District Attorney Andrew Hamlin. He is 20-year-old Gary Caminion, who was arrested Tuesday by the Pickens County Sheriff's Office and charged with solicitation for child pornography, sexual abuse 1st-Felony, production of child pornography, transmitting obscene material to a child by computer, felony child molestation, felony child Enticement.
Caminion is apparently not associated with Pickens County Schools which saw the arrest of four teachers at schools in Aliceville.

Arrested earlier was:
49-year-ol Aliceville Elementary 4th grade teacher Lakethia Wilkins was arrested by the Aliceville Police Department and booked into the Pickens County Jail on charges of possession of child pornography and using her position for personal gain.
Aliceville High School teacher, 58-year-old Winston Bishop, was arrested by Aliceville Police Monday and booked on charges of solicitation of child sex abuse material, possession of child sex abuse material, illegal distribution of a controlled substance and providing a minor with drugs.
Both Wilkins and Bishop remained in the Pickens County Jail without bond as of this afternoon.
A third Pickens County educator, Aliceville High School social studies teacher 28-year-old Antavious Belgrave was arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff's Office. He also remains the Pickens County Jail on a $1 million bond. He was arrested February 6th and charged with felony indecent exposure, three counts of sexual misconduct, three counts of ethics violations, three counts of failure to report child abuse and three counts of felony distributing a private image.
The school system issued a statement concerning the arrests of their employees:
"The Pickens County School District is aware of the recent arrests involving employees in Aliceville.
These matters are part of active criminal investigations being handled by the appropriate law enforcement agencies. The district is fully cooperating with authorities. Because these investigations are ongoing, we cannot comment on specific details at this time.
The safety, well-being, and education of our students remain our highest priorities. When concerns arise, we act promptly and in accordance with district policy and state law. Appropriate personnel actions have been taken to ensure continued stability within our schools.
We understand that situations like this create concern within our community. We are committed to transparency within the bounds of the law and to maintaining the trust of our students, parents, and stakeholders.
The actions of a few individuals do not reflect the dedication, professionalism, and integrity of the many outstanding employees who serve our students every day.

The District Attorney's Office for the 24th Judicial Circuit of Alabama the ongoing investigation is a cooperative effort of the Aliceville Police Department, State Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations Office in Birmingham.
Additional arrests and charges are possible.
