Arctic Update: Dangerously Cold Temps & Wind Chills Grips Alabama
A storm system brought one inch of snow to North Alabama this morning, with some isolated areas receiving two inches. Now, the Yellowhammer State is facing extremely cold conditions for the next few days.

The rain tapered off this morning in West Alabama, leaving mostly cloudy conditions. However, dangerously cold temperatures and extreme wind chill values remain a concern over the next few days.
On Thursday, a Cold Weather Advisory will be in effect for all of the Townsquare Media Coverage Areas, starting at midnight and lasting until noon. Our coverage area includes ten counties: Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, and Walker.
