Alabama Will Honor the 2015 National Championship Team On Saturday
The Third Saturday in October is a significant date, marking one of college football's longest rivalries. On Saturday, Alabama and Tennessee will meet for the 108th time. Adding to this historic matchup, Alabama will honor its 2015 National Championship team.

The 2015 team concluded the regular season with a 12-1 record, going 7-1 in conference play. Their sole loss occurred in Week 3 against Ole Miss, 43-37. This defeat spurred them to dominate their remaining opponents.

Additionally, star running back Derrick Henry won the Heisman Trophy. Henry rushed for 2,219 yards and 28 touchdowns on 395 carries in his final season of college football. Concluding his college career, he was selected as the No. 45 overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
That 2015 team featured notable players. Quarterback Jake Coker passed for 3,110 yards and 21 touchdowns, wide receiver Calvin Ridley had 1,045 yards and seven touchdowns, and defensive players Reggie Ragland and Eddie Jackson made significant contributions.
