Gary Landon Hill (December 28th, 1946 – November 3rd, 2021)

Gary Landon Hill, age 74, of Northport, Alabama, passed away November 3, 2021 at his residence. A private visitation will be held, and a burial with Military Honors will take place in Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama with Magnolia Chapel North directing.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Landon and Mabel Hill; and sister, Barbara Rine.

Survivors include his wife, Judith E. Hill of Northport, AL; daughters, Linda Workman (Ben), Debbie Snow (Mark), and Kelley Clark (Terry); sister, Karen Woods (Raymie); grandchildren, Miranda (Drew), Chase (Taylor), Hannah, Gracie (Hudson), Lexie, and Landon; great-grandchildren, Brookston, Sawyer, and Jaxon.

Gary was born on December 28, 1946 in Glendale, WV. He graduated from Moundsville High School in 1964. Gary served in the United States Marine Corps from 1966-1969. He was a Vietnam Veteran and the recipient of two Purple Hearts and a Silver Star. He retired from BF Goodrich in 2002. Gary loved his family. He especially loved his grandchildren and he would light up when his great-grandchildren came to visit. Gary was extremely loved and will be deeply missed.
