Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Highway Patrol Division are currently on the scene of a crash involving an overturned 18-wheeler in Tuscaloosa County.

Trooper Reginal King, a spokesperson for the ALEA, said the crash is on Alabama 216 near the three mile marker.

At this point, both lanes are completely blocked and will be closed for an indeterminate amount of time. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is also on scene directing traffic.

Traffic is being diverted at Holt Peterson Road and Kennedy Mills Road. Commuters are encouraged to avoid the area if at all possible.

At this time, there is no confirmation on any injuries related to the crash.
