Southwest Tuscaloosa will remain under a flood warning following heavy rain and severe weather late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

According to AccuWeather and the Townsquare Media Weather Service, Tuscalosoa will be under a flood warning from early Monday morning until late Wednesday evening. Minor flooding is forecasted around the Black Warrior River at Oliver Lock and Dam.

At 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, flood waters were 105.6 feet high. The river is expected to rise above flood stage on Monday morning and crest at 134.3 feet.

At 129 feet, agricultural lands in southwest Tuscaloosa will flood, and at 132 feet, rural roads will flood in Southwest Tuscaloosa. At 135 feet, camphouses and some permanent structures in southwest Tuscaloosa will become cut off.
