Northport’s Five Below Store for Teen Trends to Host Grand Opening Saturday
Northport's newest value store will celebrate its grand opening this Saturday with giveaways for early arrivals, music, activities for kids and more.
In a Tuesday press release, a spokesperson for Five Below said their new store in Northwood Crossing at 2300 McFarland Boulevard will officially open on Friday, and host the big event on Saturday.
The value brand targeting what's trending with teenagers will open at 10 a.m. Saturday, and the first 100 people in line will get a free $10 gift card to shop in the new store.

In their announcement, Five Below said the store will feature all the low-cost goodies they're known for - candy and other snacks, children's toys, sports gear, beauty products, tech deals, T-shirts and more. The Northport location will also feature a Five Below Party Shop, offering supplies for events, including helium balloons and decorations.
As the brand name implies, almost all products cost between $1 and $5. Although some items they now carry do exceed the $5 price tag, their press release said they are still an extreme value.
Five Below was founded in 2002 and now boasts more than 1,800 stores in 44 states.
