Fayette Man Dies in Saturday Wreck Outside Reform in Pickens County
A 34-year-old man from Fayette was killed Saturday in a single-vehicle accident in Pickens County outside of the city of Reform.
Corporal Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers, said Jacori L. Whitson was driving a 1997 Ford Ranger on Alabama Highway 17 in Pickens County when the truck left the roadway and struck a tree.

Whitson, 34, was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the Troopers, and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
King said the accident happened around 7:25 p.m. Saturday about seven miles north of Reform.
No other information about the fatal wreck was available Sunday afternoon.
