Alabama Congressman Barry Moore, whose campaign, like many others, leaned heavily on an endoresement by President Trump, is the front runner in the GOP senate race. He took 39.2% of the GOP vote to Jared Hudson's 25.6% and Attorney General Steve Marshall's 24.5%.

One of Alabama's more wellknown political names and perinniel candidiate Jim Zeigler is the leader in this race heading into a runoff with incumbent Christ Beeker. Zeigler grabbed 44.8% of the vote to Beeker's 24.6%. High utitlity prices may have also played a factor in this race.
