Curtis Ward Gregory (Ward), 75, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023, at his home, due to natural causes.

Ward was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on February 26, 1948. He was the first of three sons born to Curtis and Betty Gregory. Ward was a 1966 graduate of Tuscaloosa High School. He attended Livingston University, joined the Army (1967-1970) and then enrolled at the University of Alabama. During his time in the Army, Ward served honorably in Korea during the Vietnam War, obtaining the rank of Sergeant. Ward returned to Tuscaloosa, resumed college, and began working at B.F. Goodrich in November of 1971.

In 1973, Ward met his lifelong partner Annette; they were married on May 31, 1975. They were blessed with two sons, James and Casey. Aside from work, Ward enjoyed Atlanta Braves Baseball, University of Alabama athletic events and family activities. Ward retired after 35 years of dedicated service to B.F.Goodrich (Michelin). Once both retired; they enjoyed visiting places such as Key West and spending time in Utah with family. Their greatest joy was being active members at the Elks Lodge of Tuscaloosa.

Preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Warren Gregory and Betty Ward Gregory (Rouse), Wife, Elsie Annette Gregory, Son, James Gregory and grandchildren; Curtis Scott, Collin Ward & Janie Ann Gregory.

He is survived by his, Son, Casey Gregory (Jodi), Daughter-in-law, Jennifer Gregory Hawkins (Jason), Grandchildren, Emma Rose, Isabella Grace, Bailey Noelle and Conner Jackson, Brothers, Gary Gregory (Joan) and Dennis Gregory, several Brother and Sister In-laws, and nieces and nephews.

Ward will be laid to rest next to the love of his life where they both will enjoy sunrises and sunsets together for eternity.

Visitation will be held at Magnolia Chapel South on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and Graveside Services will be at 11:30 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Ralph, Al.
