1 Shot at Tuscaloosa Motorcycle Club Sunday Night, Suspect Jailed
A 26-year-old man is in jail after he allegedly shot someone outside a motorcycle club in Tuscaloosa late Sunday night.
Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said officers were called to the Wheels and Spokes motorcycle club off Culver Road in southwestern Tuscaloosa shortly after 11:15 p.m. Sunday.
Taylor said a 53-year-old man outside the club had been shot once and was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment of wounds that police do not believe are life-threatening.
After collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses, investigators believe the suspect, 26-year-old Crosby Daughtry, was involved in a dispute inside the club that continued outside.
Daughtry allegedly drew a gun and shot the victim before he fled the scene, but he was quickly identified as a suspect and Taylor said patrol officers arrested him at a residence in Tuscaloosa around midnight.
Daughtry was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where he remained Monday morning. No bond had been set for him at the time this report was published.\
