Cottondale Man Charged with 10 Felony Child Pornography Crimes
A Cottondale man was arrested this week and charged with 10 felony crimes related to the possession and distribution of child pornography, police in Tuscaloosa County said Monday morning.
Jessica McDaniel, a deputy with the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office, said the department's Internet Crimes Against Children task force worked with TCSO's Criminal Investigations Division to develop a case against 25-year-old Jordan Price.
The investigation yielded enough evidence to obtain a search warrant, and on Friday, police raided Price's home on Keenes Mill Road in Cottondale.
After analysis of devices found in the search, investigators charged Price with two counts of possession of child pornography with the intent to distribute it and eight counts of possession of child pornography.
Price was booked in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where his combined bond was set at $180,000.
McDaniel said the investigators involved in this case expect more charges to follow in the future.
