Before the special election next Tuesday, Tuscaloosa City Council D7 candidates Sonya McKinstry and Cassius Lanier spoke in detail about their platforms in a virtual forum, hosted by the League of Women Voters of Greater Tuscaloosa.

Voters in Tuscaloosa's District 6 will return to the polls Tuesday for a runoff race between two-term incumbent Eddie Pugh and retired TPD captain John Faile.

Reverend Matthew Wilson and community activist Que Chandler will compete in a runoff election to represent Tuscaloosa's District 1 Tuesday.
