Ann Atkins Whetstone (October 29th, 1935 – July 24th, 2026)

Ann Atkins Whetstone, age 90, of Northport, Alabama, passed away July 24, 2026, at her residence.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. Kerry Richardson officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be no graveside service.

Mrs. Ann Whetstone was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Whetstone; daughter, Vicki Takac; son, Greg Whetstone; and her parents, Jack and Vivian Atkins.

She leaves behind a daughter, Sherry Buchalter; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Barrow, Wesley Hubbard, Andy Williams, Jeff Dodd, Damon Ligon, and Bill Brooks.

Honorary pallbearers are Mike Watts, Bonnie Elwood, Lagetta Morrow, Mary Porter, and Sherry Barrow.
