Miller was reportedly driving a 2008 Mazda 5 without his seatbelt on when he collided with a 2017 Dodge Caravan being driven by a 35-year-old Tuscaloosa woman.

The two vehicles hit head-on around 10:10 a.m. Monday on Alabama Highway 17 around two miles south of Carrollton in Pickens County, King said.

Miller was ejected from the Mazda in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The Tuscaloosa woman driving the minivan was injured and taken to an area hospital for treatment -- the severity of her injuries was not immediately clear.

No further details were available Monday night, and King said the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Highway Patrol Division will investigate the deadly wreck.
