ALDOT to Close Lanes on McFarland Blvd. Sunday

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) announced that it will be closing down two lanes at the intersection of  McFarland Boulevard and University Boulevard.

According to a Friday press release, motorists should expect delays ALDOT will be investigating the median as the first step for the construction of the new bridge on University Boulevard.

"The US-82 eastbound inside lane and the westbound inside lane will be closed Sunday from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m., weather permitting," the release read.
