Alabama vs. Texas A&M Kick-off Time Set in Stone
The Alabama Crimson Tide's most anticipated home game of the season officially has a kickoff time. The Tide welcomes Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday, Oct. 8 for a primetime showdown.
Alabama and Texas A&M are scheduled as the second game in a CBS double-header and is set to kickoff at 7 p.m. CT.
The Crimson Tide looks for revenge over the Aggies after losing in College Station 41-38 on a final-play field goal in 2021.
The Tide has maintained an undefeated record through four weeks on the season while Texas A&M currently sits at 3-1 having lost in a shocker to Appalachian State.
The focus of the national media will be on Tuscaloosa after Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher traded offseason jabs over recruiting and the use of name, image and likeness to procure prospects.
Saban insinuated Fisher bought each recruit in its 2022 recruiting class and that set Fisher into a frenzy. The Aggies head coach called a press conference the next day and called Saban a narcissist and insinuated that he's cheated at every school he's been at.
This was the second offseason in-a-row that Fisher and Saban exchanged quips. In the spring of 2021 Fisher claimed that A&M would 'beat Saban's ass' while he was still at Bama. Saban responded, 'in golf?'. Unfortunately for Alabama fans Fisher's words rang true and he became the first former Saban-assistant to take down "The Goat".
