Smith, who hauled in 47 catches last season for just over 500 yards, was scheduled to make an appearance on Thursday of SEC Media Days alongside his two teammates, Demani Richardson and Layden Robinson.

As of Wednesday morning, according to the Brent Zwerneman of the Houston Chronicle, Smith had yet to be released on bond.

Zwerneman reports that the wideout was pulled over for speeding shortly after 2:00 A.M on Wednesday morning near the Northgate Bar District in College Station and arrested for DWI. Police searched Smith's vehicle, and per the police report, found a loaded handgun in the center console as well as a small amount of marijuana.

At this point, it's highly unlikely the receiver still makes an appearance on Thursday, but as of now, neither coach Fisher nor the University has released a statement regarding the situation.
