West Alabama World Of Works Looks To Expand Event
An event that we at Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa have been involved with for years is looking to grow bigger than ever before this year.

The team from West Alabama Works puts the event together each year.
The mission is about bringing high school students together with West Alabama businesses and companies to inspire youth in choosing a career.
The team behind the annual World of Works (WOW) event is seeking businesses to help make this year's event bigger than ever before.
Local students get the opportunity to get up close and personal with companies at the event in an effort to help students choose a career path for their future endeavors.
Over 60 West Alabama businesses are signed up to be part of the Worlds of Work event this year, yet the organizers want to see that number hit 100 companies participating.
The West Alabama Works leaders also say they would like to see more small to medium-sized companies get involved going forward.
More companies mean more choices and more students finding jobs they want to pursue.
The event is also a chance for company executives to meet students they think would be a good fit for their company.
This year, the event will take place on October 8 and 9 on the campus of Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa.
