West Alabama Works to Host Virtual Automotive Hiring Fair

Good news for those on the hunt for a new job: West Alabama Works is hosting a virtual hiring fair beginning Thursday, June 25th.

West Alabama Works has partnered with leading automotive manufacturers to host a first-of-its-kind online hiring fair. Participating employers include Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Brose, ARD Logistics, Lear, ZF, Bolta, Schnellecke Logistics, and MacLellan Integrated Services.

Potential employees need to visit westalabamaworks.com to fill out an application in advance of the hiring event, which is scheduled to begin Thursday. Use the code AUTO20 when submitting your employment application.

"Following your submission, you will receive an email with instructions to record a video interview. This interview is not live, but you should make sure you're in a quiet space and dressed for an interview. You can record via your smartphone or computer's webcam," West Alabama Works said on its Facebook event page.

The second round of interviews is scheduled to begin the week of June 29th, and applicants are advised to check their email for updates.
