Agents of the State Bureau of Investigation responded to an area on Camp Branch Road, where the 21-year-old victim was found shot to death in a church parking lot.

SBI Special Agents have since identified the man as Mustafa Alkeswani, a Vestavia Hills resident.

ALEA said the victim's body has been released to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.

No further details were available Tuesday night. ALEA said once the SBI concludes its investigation, their findings will be turned over to the 4th Judicial Circuit District Attorney's office for any necessary prosecution.
