Store in Tuscaloosa Mall Since 2006 Closing Next Month, Sales Underway Now
Major sales are going on ahead of the closure of a store that has sold craft goods, minerals, home decor, and other Bohemian wares in Tuscaloosa's University Mall since 2006.
Management at Earthbound Trading Company has announced that the location across from Victoria's Secret in the indoor mall will close for good on August 31st.
The store has been open since 2006, almost half of the 45 years since the mall's grand opening in Tuscaloosa in 1980.

According to a post on social media, the store will close on August 31st, and as of this week, all remaining inventory is marked down 50 percent. Clearance items are being sold at an additional 75 percent off, meaning some sales will be less than 15 percent of the original price.
The closure comes as more than 20 retail spaces are now vacant and available for lease at the 730,000 square-foot University Mall, including the large former Sears anchor store.
Shoppers have one month left to stock up on the quirky Bohemian offerings at Earthbound before the store closes permanently at the end of August, so swing by the Mall to take advantage of the sales while they last.
