Tuscaloosa Man Indicted In Neighboring County On Sex Crimes from 20 Years Ago
A Tuscaloosa man was arrested last Thursday on sex-related crimes that allegedly occurred 20 years ago in a neighboring West Alabama county.
According to a release from the Attorney General Steve Marshall's office, Eugene Hearing, 54, was formally indicted on April 26 for multiple sex offenses, including one count each of first-degree Rape, first-degree Sodomy and Incest.
The evidence in the case was presented to a Hale County grand jury, who returned the indictments last week.
The alleged crimes were recently investigated by the Attorney General's Office Criminal Investigations Division.
Hearing was arrested and booked into the Hale County Jail. He was released on a $100,000 bond.
