A single-car crash claimed the life of a Tuscaloosa man in an early morning Memorial Day crash.

Corporal Reginal King, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency spokesperson, said the crash occurred at 1:50 a.m. on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard in Tuscaloosa County.

Ramone A. Hardy, 29, was driving a 2004 Toyota Camry when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned. Hardy was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.

No other information was provided as the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency continues to investigate the crash.
