Tuscaloosa's first junior roller derby league will soon make their debut, with the team's first bout set for October 29.
According to a release, the Druid City Daredevils, which was created in June, will host the bout at the University of Alabama Recreation Center South Gym, located at 400 Peter Bryce Boulevard.
Doors will open at 12 p.m., with the bout expected to last until 1:45 p.m. Birmingham's Steel City Slayers are expected to be featured as special guest skaters.
Tickets are currently on sale online for $10, which can be purchased here. Tickets will be available for purchase in-person for $15, however event organizers encourage those interested to purchase tickets in advance. Children 12 and under will receive free entry.
