The details of the fatal wreck are still unclear -- Taylor said Thursday night that the accident was originally called in as a hit-and-run with a vehicle, but later said TPD investigators are not yet sure of the circumstances that led to the deadly collision.

University Boulevard was closed at its intersection with 17th Avenue from 8:30 Thursday until 1 a.m., but all lanes were reopened Friday morning.

TPD's Accident Reconstruction Unit is still trying to determine how Spencer was killed.
