Tiger Woods’ Two-Course Mini-Golf Concept Opens in Tuscaloosa Next Week
A two-course mini-golf mecca designed in partnership with the legendary Tiger Woods will finally open off McFarland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa next week.
As the Thread previously reported, the new, experimental attraction is called PopStroke. It will bring two 18-hole mini-golf courses to Harper Lee Drive, near the Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools, Baumhower's and the Hampton Inn.

The new attraction was slated to open in the fall but the completion of its construction was delayed and pushed their ribbon-cutting into the new year.
On Monday morning, Tuscaloosa City Council president Kip Tyner said the wait is almost over.
Tyner said the ribbon cutting will be held next Tuesday on January 16th, and PopStroke will open to the public the following day - Wednesday, January 17th.
PopStroke, growing fast under Woods' company TGR Design, already operates in nine markets in Florida, Arizona and Texas.
They call themselves "an elevated mini golf and casual outdoor dining experience," and the new spots will offer 36 holes of mini-golf, big-screen TVs and jumbotrons on the property, multiple bars, and much more.
