Tiger Woods’ Massive, Upscale PopStroke Putting Course Coming to Tuscaloosa
A premier, family-friendly golf experience is coming soon to Tuscaloosa, stakeholders announced in April.
PopStroke is a new entertainment concept from Tiger Woods and TaylorMade golf that combines mini-golf with luxury and also features on-site restaurants and sports bars.

The company is headquartered in Jupiter, Florida, and already open in six locations in Florida, Texas and Arizona.
On Thursday, the company announced plans to open in thirteen new markets by the end of 2023, including in Tuscaloosa. New locations are also planned for Nashville and College Station.
The brand describes itself as "a one-of-a-kind golf experience with two 18-hole putting courses created from the vision of Tiger Woods and his TGR Design team. The putting courses are coupled with an elevated full-service restaurant and bar that includes outdoor dining areas, various outdoor games, a playground, and an ice cream parlor."
"PopStroke continues to use golf to bring families and friends together in a fun, welcoming environment,” Tiger Woods said in the announcement. “I am excited to see PopStroke expanding into these new cities.”
According to the Thursday release, the Tuscaloosa location is already under construction.
Tuscaloosa City Council President Kip Tyner said on Facebook that the new attraction will be built in his district on Hellen Keller Boulevard not far from Baumhower's Victory Grille and will open before the Texas Longhorns come to town in early September.
