The Alabama Crimson Tide has been extremely blessed over the last three seasons by the right foot of Will Reichard. The rising senior kicker has scored 296 points on 40 made field goals and 176 PATs.

Reichard has stabilized a position that's been tumultuous at best for the Tide under head coach Nick Saban, but he unfortunately needs to be replaced after the season.

Alabama has picked up a commitment from a 6-foot-1 kicker out of Illinois in Conor Talty. Talty hails out of St. Rita High School in Chicago, Il.

As a junior he nailed 49-of-50 PATs and converted eight field goals. He averaged 47.5 yards per kick on 63 kickoffs and on 43 punts he's averaging 38.2 yards.

Talty was ranked as the No. 3 kicker and No. 5 punter at this summer's Chris Sailor kicking camps. He also performed well competing in the Kohl's Kicking, Punting and Long Snapping Underclassmen Challenge Camps.
The addition of Talty gives the Crimson Tide 13 total commitments for the 2023 class and puts Alabama up to the No. 11 class in the nation. He was primarily recruited by Alabama special teams coordinator Coleman Hutzler.
