Alabama Baseball completed a three-game sweep over Xavier at Sewell-Thomas Stadium on Sunday afternoon to start the season off at an undefeated 3-0.

The Alabama Crimson Tide finished 29-22 this season with a conference record of 12-17. The Crimson Tide's effort in conference was enough for the program to make the SEC Tournament for the first time since 2016. With the strong season against tough competition, Brad Bohannon's Crimson Tide had four players earn a combined six spots on the SEC's postseason award list.

The Alabama Crimson Tide (16-12) lost its midweek contest to the Louisiana Monroe Warhawks (11-14) 5-3. Alabama has now lost nine of its last 10 outings after defeating then No. 1 Arkansas on the road.

Alabama routs Jacksonville State 7-2 after tallying 8 walks.

The Crimson Tide and the Raiders agreed to move their scheduled Sunday matchup to Saturday to play a double-header and ensure all three games of the series get played. Sunday's forecast calls for thunderstorms throughout the day with the rain getting heavier as the day progresses.
