A statement from Carlee Russell via her attorney was read in a Hoover Police press conference Monday.

Since Carlee Russell returned home Saturday night, Hoover Police Dept. and those close to Russell have provided more details on her condition.

After making a 911 call, 25-year-old Carlethia "Carlee" Nichole Russell "lost contact" while on the phone with a family member.
