Hotel on Tuscaloosa’s Skyland Boulevard Has Canopy Collapse in Tuesday Storm
The canopy in front of a hotel on Tuscaloosa's Skyland Boulevard collapsed Tuesday afternoon during storms.
Local authorities were called to the scene of the Ramada by Wyndham hotel on Skyland, where the porte-cochère has fallen in - that's the canopy allowing cars to park beneath it near the lobby and registration desk.

A spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue Service said they responded to a call at the hotel around 2:45 p.m., but it was too early to confirm whether the damage was storm-related.

We're still gathering more information about the damage. For more details as they become available, stay connected to the Tuscaloosa Thread.
