Tuscaloosa Police officers responded to reports of a physical fight and paintball shots fired at CMX Hollywood 16 (formerly Cobb Theaters) late Saturday night, a TPD spokesperson confirmed Sunday morning.

Tuscaloosa Police Department Public Information Officer Stephanie Taylor said an off-duty deputy working at the movie theater asked TPD to respond to several juveniles shooting paintball guns in the parking lot.

One person was struck but had left by the time officers arrived.

Multiple units responded after a physical fight broke out amongst the juveniles; however, the fight had ended by the time officers arrived.

"This is the second weekend in a row officers have been called to address juvenile problems at the theater," Taylor said. "Ongoing issues there are what led in part to the juvenile curfew we have now."

No arrests were made, and no documented injuries were reported at the time of publishing.
