Sarah Rachel Hoggle Gandy (October16th, 1938 – June 2nd, 2024)

Sarah Rachel Hoggle Gandy, 85 of Moundville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Born on October 16,1938, in Moundville, Alabama, Sarah was the beloved wife of the late John Gandy. Together, they shared a full life and raised their two daughters, Pamela Gandy, and Terri Epperson (Lee). Sarah's fiery spirit was matched only by her passion for antiques.

In addition to her daughters, Sarah is survived by her granddaughters; Jenny Pichon (Joey), and Sarah Epperson, as well as her sisters; Molly Morrison, and Julia Harris, and many numerous nieces and nephews.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, John Gandy, parents; Ollie Mae Madison and Norman Hoggle, and her siblings; Paul D. Hoggle, Jim Hoggle, Sam Hoggle, and Mack Hoggle.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Wyatt officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in memory of Sarah.
