Several lanes of Tuscaloosa's Skyland Boulevard were closed Monday morning after a dump truck overturned and spilled the load it was carrying on the highway.

The Alabama Department of Transportation posted about the accident on social media just before 9 a.m., and crews were still working on getting the truck upright and cleaning the roadway at the time of this report.

ALDOT's Tweet said the accident left the northbound lanes closed, but the dump truck was turning south when it overturned and is actually blocking southbound lanes.

The closure is at Skyland's intersection with Highway 69 near Chick-fil-A South and Milo's.

There was no word Monday morning on whether the accident injured anyone.
