One Critically Injured in Saturday Shooting at Tuscaloosa Park

One person was critically injured at a Tuscaloosa Park Saturday, police report.

Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said officers were called to Jaycee Park on Kicker Road around 9:15 p.m. Saturday.

A man in the park restrooms was suffering from at least one gunshot wound and rushed to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Taylor said no one was been arrested and charged yet. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries.

Dispatchers received calls about the shooting around 9:15 p.m.
