Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Troopers in West Alabama, said 59-year-old Gary Randall Carver, a Gordo man, was driving a 2018 Dodge Ram on Alabama Highway 158 when he collided with a 2005 Chevy Silverado driven by a Northport teenager.

King said Carver and a teen passenger in the Chevrolet were both killed in the collision and pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other teenagers were injured in the accident, and two helicopter medevacs responded to the scene to fly them to area hospitals.

No further details were released Sunday night, and Troopers continue to investigate the deadly accident.
