A popular Northport restaurant has been forced to close its dining room during lunch hours.

Chicken Salad Chick, located in Essex Square off McFarland Boulevard, announced the temporary closure via social media Saturday.
"Our Northport Chicken Salad Chick will have to temporarily close our dining room from 10:00 am to 3:00pm each day," the restaurant said.
"We are so sorry to have to do this but until we have more team members, we will not be able to give you the service you deserve!"
The restaurant will still be able to fulfill to-go orders.
