No One Injured, No Vehicles Destroyed in Predawn Fire at Tuscaloosa Pep Boys
No one was injured and no vehicles were destroyed in a predawn fire at a Pep Boys automotive shop on Tuscaloosa's Skyland Boulevard Tuesday morning.
The Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue Service posted photos of the blaze on social media Tuesday and said dispatchers were called to the shop around 2:15 a.m. on reports of a structure fire at Pep Boys.
TFR said smoke was billowing out of the front of the structure and its garage doors, but there were no injuries and no vehicles were inside the garage bays while the fire burned.
TFR said they had the fire extinguished by 3:15.
The cause of the Tuesday morning fire is still under investigation, TRF said. Stay connected to the Tuscaloosa Thread for updates if any are made available.
