No one was hurt Saturday in a house fire in Tuscaloosa County near Elrod, law enforcement has confirmed to the Thread.

Sgt. Josh Hastings, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office, said deputies and firefighters were dispatched to a house fire in the 17000 block of Fisherman Lane at around 11:30 a.m. Saurday.

Hastings said the Romulus, Coker and Sipsey Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the scene to battle the blaze, and that the single occupant of the house was located and accounted for with no reported injuries.
